Delete your account

In the app

Open Settings › Account › Delete account and confirm it’s you: with your password, Google or Apple, depending on how you sign in. The account is deleted at once and you get a confirmation email.

Without the app, by email

Write to support@lexicosmo.com from your account’s address with the subject “Delete my account”. We will check the message comes from that address, delete the account within one month at most and confirm it. If you sign in with Apple and hid your email, it’s easiest to do it in the app.

What is deleted

• Your account, email, pilot, astronaut, patches and light-years.
• Your galaxies with their stars and the books you uploaded.
• Your words with their reviews, including the ones you added.
• Your crew: your friends stop seeing you and your requests and invites are cancelled.
• Your league place and notifications on all your devices.
• Your sessions: they end on all your devices.

What stays, without your name

• The shared dictionary: words and meanings, with no trace of who saw them.
• What your crew already won in past goals.

When it’s all gone

Deletion is immediate and final: it can’t be undone. Backups keep the data until they rotate, in 30 days. We keep the deleted account’s internal id and the date for 30 days, to tell your other devices.
